FLV Digital Enterprise Full Stack Developer

Bring your open-minded, collaborative approach to integrate and sustain programs in support of the Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA). The Full Stack Developer - FLV Digital Enterprise will support the development of software systems to achieve objectives for our new Digital Enterprise Platform.

What you’ll be doing as a Full Stack Developer

  • The Full Stack Developer is a software developer prepared to develop back-end, middleware, and front-end elements of a new SaaS data platform with integration to/from existing platforms for Army Maintenance Systems (ACN, TAMMS-A).
  • This role is onsite at Bell’s Huntsville, AL location.
  • You will work collaboratively with other cross-functional teams to evaluate, design, and implement solutions and capabilities of the system.
  • Work using scrum agile methodologies with Engineers and Product Owners to develop creative data-driven solutions that meet business and technical initiatives.
  • Collaborate within a team to evaluate architecture and design tradeoffs to develop solutions.
  • Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems.
  • Create detailed specifications for APIs, outlining endpoints, data formats, and authentication mechanisms.
  • Adeptly drive the development process by iteratively crafting tests, writing code to fulfill those tests, and maintaining a robust and reliable test suite to support a high standard of software quality.

Skills You Bring To this Role

  • Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming principles and Design Patterns.
  • Strong proficiency in programming languages such as .NET/C#.
  • Understanding of Structured Query Language (SQL).
  • Experience in developing web applications, APIs, and microservices.
  • Familiar working in Development, Security, and Operations (DevSecOps) and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) environments.
  • Versed in diverse technologies and new technical architecture principles and concepts.


What you need to be successful

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical or business discipline, technical degree preferred OR at least 5 years of development experience may be considered in lieu of bachelor’s degree.
  • Familiarity with Army Maintenance Systems (ACN, TAMMS-A) preferred.
  • 5 years overall technical developer experience developing front-end web interfaces, middleware, and backend data solutions using agile methodology.
  • Experience with software development in Department of Defense Risk Management Framework (RMF).
  • Candidates must be eligible to obtain Secret Security Clearance.
  • Familiarity with container-based deployment via Docker/ECS/Kubernetes preferred
